We Started Because Nobody Was Explaining This Stuff Clearly

Most financial education feels either too academic or too sales-focused. We built Eaulorix in 2019 because people kept asking us the same questions about investing—and nobody seemed willing to answer them without an agenda.

The Real Story

Back in 2018, three of us were sitting in a Calgary coffee shop trying to explain RRSPs to a friend. She was smart, successful, making good money—but completely lost when it came to investment basics.

That conversation stuck with us. Not because it was unusual, but because it wasn't. Everyone we knew had similar gaps in their financial knowledge, not from lack of intelligence but from lack of accessible information.

So we started hosting small workshops. Then bigger ones. By early 2019, we realized this needed to be more than weekend sessions—it needed to be a real resource for Canadians who wanted straight answers.

What Actually Matters to Us

No Commission Pressure

We don't sell products. Never have, never will. Our model is straightforward—people pay for education, not disguised sales pitches. This keeps our advice clean.

Real Examples Only

When we talk about investment scenarios, we use actual Canadian market conditions and realistic numbers. Not hypothetical perfection or cherry-picked success stories.

Admit the Gaps

If something's complicated or uncertain, we say so. The financial world has plenty of gray areas, and pretending otherwise doesn't help anyone make better decisions.

How We Actually Work

Our approach developed through trial and error with real participants. Some methods worked better than expected, others we dropped completely. Here's what consistently helps people gain confidence.
